João Simão sneaks into Event #88 of Americas Cardroom High5

This Easter Sunday, the Americas Poker High5 Series brings big prizes to Brazilian poker. In addition to Alan Melo’s beautiful victory, ace João Simão also participated and took a strong lead.

In Event #88 ($1,050 PLO 6-Max), the miner with the legendary account “galododoidoido13” defeated 107 opponents to become the tournament champion. João Simão was awarded $27,560.

In Event #87 ($109 Full Bowl), the player at the helm of the “Phnuts” account was the one who prevailed in a huge competition with 1,663 entrants. The title earned him $13,365.

In the end, Team Brazil had a solid showing in Jessé Cesar’s Team Samba Poker $215 Sunday Special. His Hard Work account came in second place with $32,485. In the same event, “RafaelfTTo” finished sixth for $10,467 .
